Woof, woof! It’s Behr Bear here with a big ol’ story to tell! That’s me, the big dood on the right. I know you will remember me. I am the 4-year-old Bernedoodle boy rescued by California Doodle Rescue after having had multiple surgeries because I had this bad habit of eating cloth things like socks. I didn’t just chew them up and spit ‘em out. Nope, I swallowed them and then well, it’s not good. Any who....when California Doodle Rescue took me in, I was in desperate need of a 4th intestinal surgery. I was in dire straits. Things were looking bad, like really bad. But with outstanding medical care at Sherman Oaks Veterinary Clinic, the loving support of my foster family, and of course all of the wonderful people who donated money to pay for my surgery and recovery, I am happy to report that I am healthy and living my best life with the BEST forever family. I have a huge yard to romp around in with my Goldendoodle sister, and my pup parents keep a watchful eye on me so that I cannot get into anymore “sock mischief.” California Doodle Rescue knew that I needed a forever home that could help keep me safe and they worked really hard to find me a home that would ensure my safety. My humans do a really good job helping me make good doggie choices. I cannot thank enough the whole California Doodle Rescue team for giving me a second chance to have a big, beautiful doodle life! - November 2024 adoption
